I also use a home depot chop saw. What i found and most likely what FNLOW did is cut just on the outside of the mark and then take a 4" grinder and work your way up on to the mark. It is a little more time consuming but works great. My chops saw walks about a 3-6 degrees when i cut a 2x4 piece of tube steel. I can't wait to get a nice band saw. Soon. Hopefully soon.

ps. If you don't mind me asking what do you do for a living? I thought you built trucks for other people?
