I can't wait to see your version of a 4 door dually. FYI, the 6.2/6.5 deisel's weigh in very comparable to a big block Chevy. They are not near as heavy as a Cummins or International. Despite what some people say, with a few very minor mods, they are rock solid reliable and can made to have good power and very good economy. The biggest things are head and main studs and a stud girdle. That makes all the difference in the world on these engines and will cost you under $300. It costs a lot of money to get them to current Duramax or Cummins power levels, and but they are easy to get to the level that all of the diesels were 5 or 6 years ago. I have had 2 of them that were every bit as strong as the 7.3L International or stock 12 valve Cummins and got 20 mpg plus. Just another option to think about.
