I would still run the tranny lines through the radiator, especially with a high stall converter. Water cools better than air does, and heat is the number one enemy of auto trannys.

from what a lot of the racers and shops say, temps are cooler not running it throught the radiator. 210degree water tends to heat up the tranny fluid I guess.
