ImpalaSS,
Sorry I missed this before, but I guess it didn't matter huh.
Places to watch on these trucks are the fender bottoms and wheel well lips, all metal around the battery tray (core support, inner fender, front pass. fender), rocker panels, cab corners and door bottoms and bent hoods for the outside. Inside pull the carpet and door sills as the sills are great about holding dirt under them. Lower kick panels where they meet the floor are prone to rust because the cowl drains past this.

Normally the running gear is usually good (if taken care of)

I feel like my subconscious is trying to own all years and combinations of the 73-87's. I currently have (2)73'S (1)75 (1)78 (1)80 (1)82 and (1)86. Except for a Blazer (and I am looking), I have owned every availible C10 series body style offered. Suburban, SWB fleet, LWB fleet, SWB stepside. Both 4x4 and 4x2. And every style engine: inline, SBC and BBC.

I need professional help!
