1970 C/20 My first truck

Hi, I am 16 years old and just recently got my first vehicle. A 1970 C/20 that we picked up for only $1400 with a 350, 4 speed standard Transmission, and no power steering,no power brakes. It also came with new rocker panels and nice chrome front and back bumpers. Well we only drove it around for about a week until it started to get a real annoying rattle under the hood. So we brought it into my dads shop. I disassembled the lower half of the engine to find that it had spun a bearing on the second cylinders connecting rod. Needless to say the crank was damaged beyond repair. So we decided it's time to rebuild this engine. When me and my dad got to think "Why rebuild it to a stock 350 when you can rebuild to a 383 stroker." I mean its a 4 bolt main which is a great block to start with and half of it needs new stuff anyways. So we disassembled it and that's about how far we are until we get the money for the whole build. Which makes me come to the appearance of the truck. Having some time to save money for the engine made me get to thinking of how I want it to look when I am done.I decided that I am going to paint it a flat black for now. Mainly because it's only $30 for a gallon and it could be a primer for if I ever do change the color. I was thinking maybe keeping a more stock looking truck or a street rod look. If I did street rod look i would keep the flat black and convert the long box to a short box and lower the front at least 2 inches. But, there is a unbelievable amount of things i can do, since my dad does own a powder coating business. Leave and suggestions that you have please.

Here are some Pictures:

Thanks for looking
