Depends on some things like... how much airspace they require(you can reduce it a bit but that'll reduce your low bass repro), how tall you are and how much legroom you need, etc..
I just built an enclosure to go behind my seat, I'm 6' so it needed to be almost all the way back for comfort/safety. I ended up getting about 1 cubic foot of internal volume, since I left a few inches between each end of it and the seat back latches. I believe it is 34-35" long... My 10" called for 1cu ft so it worked out fine and sounds great. I've got 2 8"Bazookas that I could've squeezed back there but in order to get them near the corner for somewhat proper loading they'd interfere with my seat back locking levers on each side so I scratched that idea. My 2 old school 12" RF's(had them since late 80's early 90's) wouldn't fit back there, no way!
