I was playing around with the horsepower calculator on TCI's website and found this..... Assuming your vehicle weighs 4000 pounds you would theoretically run 11.56 with 500 HP. I do not know how accurate this is but it might give you some kind of idea on what kind of HP goal you want to set. You first need to set a realistic budget because this is most peoples limiting factor. 500 HP is not easy to get on a tight budget. Nitrous is the least expensive way to go, but you need to make sure you have a good foundation that will handle the nitrous. Like Marv said, Pick a plan and a budget and follow it. After you've done that, most of these guys on here would be glad to help you.
