I've made a little progress getting the frame ready. Stripped off everything I needed to. Welded in a rear cross member. Got some rear leaf springs mouted.

Because of the shape of the rear spring Shackle mount I decided to "pie cut" it to make it look better and fit the frame rail better

I even got some help from my father in law!!! He worked for JT Transport here in Wichita back in the 50's and has a wealth of knowledge on modifying these old truck frames. Back then they had to adapt stock trucks for many uses. One of which was hauling aircraft parts for Boeing and others.
