Yes - cab and front clip remained on the chassis. The fuel tank (and shield) caught the most overspray (pretty much full blast), in the vicinity of the cab corner. Across the back of the cab and the front bumper brackets caught just a little bit; very little inside the wheel houses. I wasn't too concerned because I knew I was going to hit them with chassis black when done, anyway.
I recommend you do the interior and door jambs first (before exterior paint), because it is easier to mask off. I didn't get it done in time but - on the other hand - I now know what (exterior) color I need to match on the interior and jambs. I don't foresee any problem if you were to do the firewall and floorboards before exterior paint.
