Thanks for the replies! Its not as good as it seems ? IMO
It has some pretty rough spots, the roof has a big ugly dent that might be beyond my skill level.
Underneath looks pretty good. My biggest worry is the rear fenders.
One thing at a time, start, stop, steer get those done first. Then I'll dig in on smoothing it out. For now I want to get it in good enough shape to drive to
"traditional" shows as well as truck shows more or less as is.
Needs windshields and 1 side glass. I like the idea of leaving it a six but maybe find a newer six 250 ? 292 ? Maybe a 302 GMC
Its on the back burner for any big work.
as for the rear seat? Its a bed I have yet to mess with it but I think it folds out somehow. Previous owners used it camping.
I'll post some of the ugly spots soon.
