Here is what I know.

If you buy a front shock from ECE, it comes with their sticker on the box making the KYB number unreadable. The number on the shock is 344068. I ran these shocks for 100k miles on my 72 with drop spindles and 3 inch drop springs. Never bottomed out the shock. They are plenty good for 3 inch drop coil application.

In the rear, again ECE sourced shock, true pn 244055 works well with a 6 inch drop and aftermarket shock extenders like ECE, etc. This shock will allow the axle to bottom completely to the frame and still not fully collapse the shock. With 6 inch coils and any lowering block combo it will serve you well. Keeping in mind that only the coil affects shock travel. A lowering block does not affect the shock length.
