Re: new guy

That is kind of my goal for now. I inherited this truck from my dad in 1985 and drove it several years, then it was parked and I started a "ProStreet" project on it. But time and money faded, and it sat for several more years. When I finally got a place to work on it and some spare money, I had aged and my goals changed. Since this truck has been in the family since 1973, my goal is now to have a "new" '68 with a stock looking appeal, with some ProStreet things incorporated. I had also meant to purchase all new sheet metal, but after reading on here about fitment issues, and re-thinking the project, I am going to use all the original metal, so when I'm done the truck will be original except motor/trans/rear end.
