Thats what I did with my shortbed, all the way down to the frame....It was worth it. Just be patient putting it back together....If you want it to look factory, I would get the harness with the HEI wire put into it. it looks good.
Bill Athey got me mine, hes on the board, or google atheys truck parts.....
