Looks good. As a temporary way to start it you can wire in an ignition switch or you can get a toggle switch and a momentary switch. For the HEI you need + 12VDC through a toggle switch and then to the "Batt" terminal on the cap. For the starter you need a + battery cable to the starter and + 12VDC through a momentary switch back the the "s" terminal on the starter. Turn the toggle on for the HEI and hit the momentary switch for the starter. You can get the + 12VDC for both switches either from the battery or from the large terminal on the starter. I suggest the battery just because it is easier to get to. You will also need a negative cable from he battery to the engine block.
