I'm convinced that having a crew cab 69-72 model truck is officially a life long dream of mine. Wow they look stunning when done correctly. Examples of done correctly are the orange one, Pencillin (insanely awesome truck!) and the red one w/ photoshop stepbed that is really a blue truck on a 2500hd frame w/ dmax

Whats a realistic figure to have one built. Just talking the cab, nothing else. Say you provide the fab person/shop with a good donor cab and good donor suburban shell. Would $5000 get all metal work done, smoothed and in primer? Not too concerned with a real forth door - at least not to the degree that penicillin got with hand fabbed hinges, latches, int. door, window mech., etc. that are exact opposite of the pass. side.
