As far as the rims go, they fit fine without spacers, I just wanted them sticking out there a bit more. if I go straight stock 6.5" wide steelies, I'll have to run a spacer since I have discs up front.

here's my thoughts...... ditch my front and rear chrome bumpers. go back to bone stock white. then, go white or gray stock steelies with '54 GM sedan caps or chrome bullet lug nuts
I might be interested in your chrome bumpers if you do decide to switch.
Too bad your trucks not a 71-72,... I have an NOS painted front bumper for one.

Doug,... I have seen people use "self etching" primer on chrome bumpers,... and then paint them.
I'm not sure how well it holds up,... but I've seen it done.
