Yup, even if you have a pretty much junk splash apron you can use it as a spacer to get the bumper lined up right. Then take it off. LOL I did figure out that I did have the splash apron on my truck after all though. I had dug out the old one that had holes in it for fog lights and put it back on when I swapped bumpers a few years ago I guess.
