Re: 79 2wd blazer

thanks, I've seen alot of super great projects and information on this site and I know it don't look like much, but I'm gonna do what I can with it.
I'm gonna have to have some patience. You know I've got it bad with this ol turd stuffed in my little two car garage and barley room to move. We'll see how it goes this summer.
I really like the looks of these blazers and trucks for that matter. Story is that with the blazer I can fit in the wife and kids .
My real goal is to some how get her in the 12's. This little 355 my not be the answer but this is where it starts. Oh yea and I promise to put some effort toward a presentable paint job or at least primer.

Motor:
350 4 bolt
oem steel crank std.std.
eagle sir 5.7 rods
L2256 .030 pistons, moly rings
std vol oil pump
Manley 2.02int 1.60exh gm heads with 7/16 studs pocket ported
scorpion 1.5 rockers
stock grind .475 lift cam w/112 lobe center 254 duration
torker intake
650 deamon v.c. carb

Also has Neal Chance killer 350 tranny and 4.11 gears for the rear.

If your reading this and have a real idea what the thing is gonna run go ahead and tell me.
A friend of mine that I help out with on his circle burner thinks I'll be lucky to get into the 14's.
Just forget to factor in how great of driver I am, probably should go pro.
