Mike, it was great meeting you. The truck has been great.
You guys should know the kind of guy you're dealing with on your board. When I picked up the truck, I brought along a stack of cash and my cousin for company on the ~1700 mile roundtrip. When Mike found out my cousin was fresh out of the Army and had done 2 tours in Iraq, he thanked him for his service to our country. My cousin really appreciated the thanks.
But when Mike and I exchanged cash for truck/title, he peeled a big $ bill off the top and gave it back to me. He told me that it was a small thing compared to what my cousin had given to us, but that I should buy him a nice steak dinner.
I was surprised by the gesture. Here was a guy that I'd only just met and he was giving me money back from the transaction to show appreciation to a member of my family.
It meant a lot to my cousin and me. We could use a lot more people like Mike in our society.
