Re: 67 SWB 4x4

We have not tried any other products like this.

I do not like the type that stay soft or rubbery.
They tend to chalk with time and heat, and we have heat in South Texas.

But this is on the bottom of the car, protected from UV.

Raptor allows me to wipe the car down with a damp towell and it is like new.
It is hard, like an epoxy, which I think it is, and gets harder with age.

A negative is you can not blast this stuff off.
It will grind off if you need to repair a panel, and you can shoot back over it.

I was not sold on the first car, but could see the advantage of the inside fenderwells not getting rock chips.
After we built that car, I knew it needed to be on both sides of the front fender wells, hood bottom, cab bottom, bed bottom, and gas tank.

For a daily driver I would even put it on the door sill to keep the paint from being scratched up, some of the 4x4s are pretty tall and hard to get into.
Add to that the battery tray, and maybe the radiator support.

It will not protect from a boulder hit, but it will protect from rock trash off the tires, and it will protect the metal from corrosion.

I should be ready to post final pics the end of this week, and will show all the places I used it.
