In grandpa's 57 we cut a floor out of a mid 90s bed and welded it in. No upkeep when you do I this way. However I like the wood in mine. I finished it with an automotive clear. All the other crap they say to use is junk IMO. Seal it good and be done with it.

Have any pictures? I like the wood look myself but would like to see some pictures of other ideas
