Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

Just wanted to say:
I have had my EFI tank in for a few weeks now. Install went great. I did have to do a little grinding on the frame to make it fit, but I believe Dave has since modified the design to accommodate the SWB coil spring frame.
Truck isn't done, but the LT1 is running now using this tank.
I got the bed floor mount filler and I am using a chrome filler designed for a boat. The filler is placed perfectly between the 2 bed supports. Pretty simple on that part. The one problem this did create is that in order to remove/install 2 of the bed bolts I will have to drop the tank to get access to them. Not a problem since I ran my electrical and fuel lines in a way that makes dropping the tank easy.
Tank is a really nice piece, looks great and works great.
