Like mentioned above, DT is known for great quality headers. If the sidepipe kit is in fact DT, it should be top notch too. I'd be willing to bet that if you were to look down inside the pipe there is a muffling baffle of some type built into them. I'd go ahead and run those suckers if I were you.
