Not the case on this one. It is "overly complicated" where you don't need it. The biggest challenge with trying to run 2 alternators is more than just mounting them. You have to have good belt contact, preferably more than 90 degrees, or it will slip.
A good quality single alternator and a battery isolator to charge and auxillary battery will be fine. Off-roaders have done it like this for years to keep a battery ready for a winch or multiple hi-powered lights.
