Bigger on grounds is always better. Also, ground strap flat wire uses very small strands. This is good for two reasons:
1. Electricity mainly flows on the surface of the conductor, so more strands means more surface area and less resistance.
2. Thinner strands are less likely to harden and break from movement between the frame and engine.
