8 = Blazer

5 = check digit
F = 1985 model year which doesn't fit the rest of the VIN plate

If its a 1985 then the VIN decodes as
1 = made in usa
G = GM
N = ??? should be C
E = GVWR Brake System rated 6001 - 7000 lbs
V = ??? should be K for 4X4 C for 4X2
1 = 1/2 ton
8 = Blazer
K = 5.7 v8
5 = check digit
F = 1985 model year
