I had to notch the passenger side around the cast area the fuel pump attaches to. I have an electric pump, so I'm just going to put a block off plate on mine.

When i got my s-10 frame it had 4.3v6 mounts and after trying almost all options i've decided to use these mounts and it puts my motor about an inch or so from the firewall with little work. I will be using an electric fuel pump also and an vintage air front runner system. I'm glad you got the mounts to work for you i came real close to doing the same thing you did with the mounts i have.
