Re: what else should i buy prior to attempting to lower my truck?
A guy around here picked up a whole C20 LWB donor with a bad motor for $200. He pulled the bed for his truck and sold the rest for $500. Keep an eye on CL for someone parting a good bed or a whole truck. You never know what you will find.
