I've been thinking about this as well. I have a truck right now with the Factory Cruise and I must say it is so so. If/when you can get it set it will either one pulse back and forth thus wasting fuel or 2 just start making you accelerate. I realize that mine is just having issues but I think an aftermarket unit would be the way to go due to the simplicity of the stand alone units. my 2 cents.
