The old filler panel must be removed as well. There are several bolts on top of and behind this panel. There are also two hidden underneath in each corner. Once the old panel is removed, test fit the new panel.
Install all of the bolts to secure the panel in place and bolt in the 73-74 center brace along with the external release hood latch. You will also need to install the corresponding hood catch under the hood.
