whoo hoooo!!! so ive got the rotating assembly, looks great but absolutely needs a good clean!!

so heres my big question. i called our local machine shop (my favorite one anyways) and they quoted me about $500 to have it fully cleaned and have it all magnafluxed.

now im always a "better safe than sorry" kinda guy and feel this step is a good idea. but im just curious what the engine guru's have to say about it being a necessary one?? (the magnaflux anyways, it NEEDS a clean of course)
