You and me both. I can't remember what position my towers were in before the LS1, but I've got a ground running to the rear hole on the driver's side that I think has been there for ages (i.e. long before the LS1).
Looks like I'm back to my plan of ditching the rag joint for a U-joint and getting a quick ratio steering box. Shame, this does look nice.
