On the panels and parts I take down to the bare metal I am using (SPI) Southern Polyurethanes Inc. Epoxy primer, it's gr8 stuff to use. Then I top coat it with my PCL high fill polyester primer. Attacking some rust and old body filler that was slathered on one of the fenders and they used so much filler they pluged a hole without doing any metal work. They just contoured the filler to the shape of the metal lol. The previous owners.
