Re: 1954 Chevy / S10
As I said when it rains it pours. I had said earlier that my wife's dodge durango needed a battery. I put a battery in and it made a terrible noise. So I figured it was the starter so I bought a new one and finally had time to put a new one in ( from cleaning and replacing everything from the storm). It made the same terrible noise, so the three times I started it I only let it run for seconds. The last time I ran it I took the belt off and still made the noise. I just checked the internet and found on edmunds that there are more than just me having the problem. Busted rod which is what I thought it sounded like. They are known to have this problem. So this will be the last Dodge that I will ever buy. I already told her that when I fix the piece of !@#$ it is getting sent. Then there will be a Chevy taking its place. This has been a week from hell.
