http://www.boydwelding.com/about Midway down the page. These are not really installation instructions but requirements to keep your warranty valid. we expect all customers to use common sense while installing these tanks and to keep them safe and secure as best as possible.

to address your concern on rigid mounting the tank.. I have alot of customers that do rigidly mount the tank to the chassis without any issues. If your tank cracks and you have the rubber insulator in between the frame and mounting angle that would be considered a warranty issue That we will take care of. If you would like to do more, i would suggest using a Rubber bushing backed by washers to absorb any flex you may experience.
