Re: The 1960 - 1966 Member Introductions

I'm Dave, been off and on here for a little while. I started on here when I bought my '69 and got a TON of info that lead me to bag it, swap out a bunch of parts for upgrades, and just had a blast with it. Got out of classic trucks and focused on motorcycles for a while, but I got the itch again.

Always wanted to build a '66, so I got my C20 and laid out some initial plans. As many of my plans go, this project has spiraled I keep the budget (and a bulk of the money spent) hidden from the wife. She has a "don't ask, don't tell" policy with the "other woman in the garage".

I love this site and try to contribute when and where I can. I like to share my crazy ideas and get feedback from people who might have "been there, done that" at one point. I've met a few people in person and hope to meet more. With any luck, my truck will be 90% complete by this time next year or sooner.

I don't know if this site has cost me, or saved me more money in the long run.
