Re: MTX TERMINATOR tn 250-1 mono 400watt max

Vegas is right...Ignore the fact that the amps speaker outputs look like it's 2 channels, it's only like that to make wiring easier for certain applications.

I'm not sure what you're kickers are (2 or 4 ohm, or SVC or DVC), but you're amp isn't stable at 1 ohm, so here's you're wiring options:

If the speakers are DVC:
Series/parallel = 4 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel

This shows a 4 ohm speaker, but if yours are 2 Ohm, it'll just produce more power, either way, this is the only way you can wire it with a DVC set up and your amp. If you wire it the other way, the Ohms will be 1 or .5 and your amp cannot handle that.

If the speakers are SVC:
Parallel = 2 ohm load

If SVC, wiring the speakers in series would result in a higher ohm rating and less volume output.

DVC=Dual Voice Coil where your speaker has 2 spots to connect speaker wires to.
SVC=Single Voice Coil where there's only 1 spot to connect speaker wires to.
