87 V30, front springs or Air Lift or both?

I have a 1987 V30, 454, th400, np205, 77k mi. It is a clean, clean, clean old truck. I have decided against installing 2.5" or 4" Skyjacker lift kit for the sole fact that the new springs provided with the lift kit are only 2.5" wide, and the factory OEM springs are 3" wide. Now, anyone knows that less spring mass = less capacity. I do not plow or have a heavy front bumper, but there is the big block in there. I called Skyjacker and they confirmed that with any of their springs (even the fitted ones), there would be a reduction in capacity. To me, thats no good.
I want to raise the truck in the front to level it, but not so much as to have it looking like it is constantly driving up hill.
So, I looked and searched for a quality Add-a-leaf for the front. I found 1 such place. That place is called Husky Springs. Adding a 4th spring to the bottom of the leaf pack would raise the front a little?. Here is a link to the spring I am looking at.

The other option I found was Air Lift products. The inflatable bags for the front of the truck. The truck would probably ride even rougher than it does now, but, the system installed with a tank and compressor, is adjustable. Here is the link.

What is anyones experience with either of these products? What are the opinions of installing both?
Or
Should I just order a new 4 leaf pack for each side that are made to OEM spec?
Any advice will solve my great debate. thank you!
