Not everybody likes the raised floor look, and if you didn't want to go that route, your stuck cutting the cross sills for clearance.

I understand raising the bed floor, but whether you do or don't you still have to attach the bed to the frame at the same level as a stock cross sill to maintain body lines. Just wondering what guys are doing at the back when "stuff" is in the way...
