I think what you are talking about is the DRAG LINK. I used all the components from a 71 on my 64 short box. I did use the 71 drag link and very carefully re drilled the holes in the frame for that one. I had the ols fram from the 71 for reference. I have had the front end aligned and there were no problems. I can send you a photo tomorrow if you like
