If all you want is 2 inches I would do what lolife said. You will retain the load capacit of the truck, only have to remove 4 bolts from the truck, you could upgrade the bushings to urethane while you are at it and it is cheap!
It is a roll of the dice how low you will go by removing springs because nobody knows how much fateague your specific springs have in them or if they will be even on both sides.
