Rude Dude, I'll meet ya half way.

I needed the brackets but didn't want to start from scratch. I ordered a set from LMC. When I installed the bumper with the new brackets, I was suprised how low and far back the bumper mounted. It may have been original but I had to have it closer to the bed.

I cut the brackets just a little too far, but since I was gonna have to weld-fill anyway, I put the bumper where I wanted it and bolted ends to the frame and to the bumper then began the fill.


After filling the gap.


Once the fill was done, 4 1/2" grinder cleaned the weld. Now the brackets look stock, but the bumper sits where I want it to be.


A little sheet metal work gave me a place for the license plate and filled the open area also.


New bumper so I taped it so I wouldn't scratch it while setting up the brackets.
