Now that we are all marked up, the crossmember needs to be braced before we make major cuts. Since I need to fit a grinder, I made the top slices before adding the brace.

Rather than weld a brace to the towers, I uses an old junkyard steering arm and some angle. Now I have another ‘tool’…. for future chops
