20 years ago when I first started in the auto world Moog had their own in-house engineers and would put out really quality stuff. In the mid 90's they were bought out by Federal Mogul when FM and Dana started buying up smaller companies.

My understanding is FM pretty much just bought them for the name. If someone knows different from me please correct me, but I think now its anyones guess on who actually manufactured the parts you get.

There are only a few companies who actually manufacture parts, and I doubt Moog makes their own parts anymore.
