I see a lot of stuff, model wise, but this one caught my fancy.
Dang, not mine though.
Yes sir, diecast
Measures 8".
Graphics patterned after some Super Hero.
I've never had kids so I don't recognize the figure.
There's a lever on the underside to release the side door.
Won't open or close without trouble without it's use.
Inside the driver's door is cast MW4600AB-DC with Oriental writing below.
Side doors are screwed on (individual plastic hinges) with small metal screws.
Graphics are screen printed. Grill, headlights and taillights are individual peices.
Interior rear view mirror is screwed on (I think - too little to see with my lighting tonight).
Floorboards, all seats and doghouse/dash area are one piece.
Steering wheel and wheel wells are separate black plastic peices.
Dash cluster appears to be died tan or a decal...pretty subtle and hard to determine.
The windshield is cast with the wipers but the wipers are black.
There is no blending of colors...windsheild and wipers/black windsheild gasket are
sharply defined though indeed one part.
Castings on hubcaps is intricate as well as the tires and their tread plus the under
carriage seems true to the vehicle.
Tires are physically wrapped around the wheels...separate parts.
Actually in quite good condition now that I look at it...didn't clean the grunge off before
the pic but it does look like it's had only a mild amount of play-time.
Someone cracked the windsheild in two places; what a bummer.
Model weighs about a pound.
I will add pics of the front later tomorrow. In the daylight.
I've tried to research this thing but searching has let me down.
What say you guru?
Whoof..that took a ton of typing.
