The position/location of the motor doesn't move at all. The motor mounts attach to the upper face of the crossmember. Think of it like this, the section that is cut out stays bolted to the frame in factory position, and you move the entire suspension upwards around the cut out piece 1.25 inches, then weld back in place.
Its really hard for me to explain, unless you're just looking at it. I'm a very visual person(thus my picture-loaded thread) But all in all, the only thing that is in a new spot afterwards is the suspension and steering moved up 1.25".
