After talking with Alan he informed me that his stud gun came with the trim studs. So we used the weld on studs instead.

I'm getting ready to do this same thing on my cab. I was thinking of going with the screw in studs though... Can you tell me what the measurement is from the top of the pinch weld where the window rubber goes, down to where the stud gets placed? Thanks.
