Re: Suburban side window gaskets

Sad to say if you want to do it right it's going to cost you. I steer away from packaged kits because they tend to not fit right. I got my rubber gaskets from steele rubber and they weren't cheap but they are quality, but that's all you get. The glass run channel and the beltline have to be purchased seperatly. C.R.Laurence makes these products and they are also quality. The glass run is 10G96 and the beltline is YM372, the only change you have to make is on the vertical piece of beltline that slips into the small channel. The stainless bead has to be removed for it to fit properly. It's easily removed with a pair of needle nose pliers. The C.R. Laurence products can be purchased at your local glass contractors or supply outlet. You can also buy and view the pieces at Restoration Specialties online.
