In all Honesty,I think after driving my S10 with a 5.3 I don't know if I would notice the 10 or 15 hp difference of a 4.8-5.3. I realize I have a stock tune and the only thing we did was put on a high performance air cleaner set up and used a HP tuner. That 5.3 has more power than I really need,would I change it now/NO WAY
