The Hooker setups aren't a direct fit without some masaging to the system. I installed a Hooker 2.25" "header back" system on a 1979 GMC K25. To get it to mate up correctly we had to add a 3" length of tubing to clear the crossmember. Not to mention we had to do a cut and reweld to make the collectors mate up correctly.
